Ever since the eleventh century, the art of hand weaving rugs was taking place in Pakistan. This strong tradition of carpet weaving continues today. The Peshawar Finest and Bokhara rugs are hand woven by Afghans in the Peshawar and northern regions of Pakistan. These hand knotted Pakistani rugs have varying designs ranging from elegant floral designs to repeated geometric pattern. All are made meticulously to represent the richness of the Pakistani heritage. The Luxurious Pako Persian carpets have the stunning designs of the Persian styles combined with the vegetal dyes and techniques of the Pakistani weavers. The nomadic tribes along the Afghan Pakistan border, make the Gabbeh and Zigler Gabbeh carpet. These unique Pakistani carpets embroider the fusion between two cultures. The varying lines and dazzling colors express a true value of detailed perfection.

A very special Pakistani area rug includes fine double knot carpets. These are hand knotted making very tight weaves with wool pile′s and a cotton base. Some of these unique rugs come in round and oval shapes. The intricate artistic depiction elaborates on the background of Pakistani history.
